That is why to keep up with the needs of making this total system on the ID card, one has to employ the use of photo ID systems.

Gone are the days when our IDs are typed on a piece of cardboard, our 1x1 id picture is pasted on it and we sign the cardboard IDs. Now, we either submit our pictures in digital form or they take our picture, store it in the database together with all the other necessary data such as the name, etc. Our signatures are also stored digitally. The style or the look for the ID is really dependent on what the company wants. These data are printed out on a plastic card. These plastic cards already have the system inside. Some of these cards have a small microchip which makes it all possible. So you can use it as a key, time in and out device and others.

There are really more possibilities for the photo ID systems as the days go on. As more and more people are trying to maximize its potential. There may even come a time when we can use it as a credit card too. We can never tell what’s the future of photo id systems.
